sMDM is not transferable. Half of each day's emission goes to stakers pro rata; sMDM locked behind an MCU position earns half of that share, and the other half goes to the treasury.
Stake needs a one-time MDM approval to the Core contract; exact amount by default. Unstake requests queue in order and claimUnstaked pays every item that has thawed.

Staking turns MDM into sMDM one to one. Free sMDM earns the full staker share of the emission; sMDM locked behind MCU earns half. To leave, request an unstake and wait 7 days; it stops earning the moment you ask. Rewards accrue continuously and you can claim them whenever you like.
